Shop for Books by James Webb
James has had a variety of interesting learning experiences in his life, some from being a Baptist minister in the UK and then some from being a member of Cornerstone Community, a mission and discipleship community in Australia. He fancies himself as something of a storyteller, and these books are his attempts to put some of the things he’s learnt into words. James currently lives in Canterbury with his wife and five (yes, five) children.

Shop for Books by Liz Jennings
Liz grew up in a South London vicarage in the 1970s, the youngest of three children. Their home was a happy, lively one, full of people and interest for a curious child. A lot of her early memories are of making sandwiches for the homeless men who would camp out in their front porch. She studied in London for an English and Theology degree.
Liz has recently won the Emma Kent Award for her work with people with a diagnosis of dementia. She has spent her working life writing whenever possible, and has written for a variety of Christian and secular publications and organisations, from Tearfund to The Big Issue. She met her husband, Mark, while temping in one of those random jobs in Clapham. They have two children and live in Kent.

For Tracey, becoming ‘collared’ was a surprise, and her joining the Army was even more of one. Jack, her husband, was a tremendous support and encouragement as he quite literally accompanied her around the world. Tracey enjoyed every minute of serving with 26 Royal Artillery in Germany (during which she was deployed to Iraq) and the 1st Batallion of the Royal Regiment of the Fusiliers. During this time John, their son, was born. Tracey then re-entered parish Ministry as a Bishops’ Missioner and Priest for a few years, during which time Jack started at theological college himself. As a family they love days out, cycle rides, walks and every so often you may even find Tracey on a golf course or a vineyard.

Shop for Books by St Peter’s Methodist Primary School
‘A Child’s Dream of Peace’ is an exciting and beautifully illustrated anthology of poems on the theme of peace, the result of a unique collaboration between the City of Canterbury, The Cathedral, St Peter’s Methodist Primary School and the wider community.
In March 2016, Sue Hunt, St Peter’s School Librarian, and Michelle Crowther, Creative Writing Tutor, led a series of poetry workshops for Book Week. The children were given a flying hat and goggles, a map of Europe, a compass and asked them to imagine their flight across space and time in a magical hot air balloon.
Shop for Books by Debbie Rogers
Debbie is mother to seven children and works in a play group. She loves spending time with other people’s gorgeous children. One of her favourite things as a Mum of a young child was to sit and read stories with them. Books that her daughters enjoyed were “My Naughty Little Sister,” and “Milly Molly Mandy.” Debbie wanted to write a book celebrating and enjoying the little incidents that make up a child’s life and she based the characters on her own children as they were growing up.
The Illustrator, Rachel Williams, Black Griffin Studio, studied Art on the Foundation course at Medway College of Art and Design; then went on to study Graphic Design at Canterbury Art College (now UCA). She is a freelance illustrator; hand painting china and illustrating books, as well as taking on one-off commissions.
Some of the proceeds from the sale of Princess Annabelle will go to Jenga, a community development project in Uganda.
